Yesterday I went to see a room for rent in Penang. It was located near Kayu Nasi Kandar. The environment there was very very very nice and the house I was staying in was even nicer kept by a middle aged couple.
The cost for the room rent was RM260/month including BASIC electricity and BASIC water usage. The room was upstairs around ~13feet X 13feet, with bedpost, ceiling fan and a wardrobe. Not a bad place to live in actually.
Then, before I forgot, the BASIC electrical appliances will cost extra RM10 to every unit (computer, TV, Radio etc). Also if my GF comes everyweek to visit and stay with me will extra a BASIC RM30 every month.
So instead of the cost of a BASICally RM260/month, the room now will cost me BASICally at least RM300/month. Not to mention that my beloved/trusted/full flying/black color/metal horse (means my motorbike) was not allow in the front yard.
Well now I am still BASICally without a room in PG and BASICally need to drive to work from KB temporarily. BASICally I am still pissed off by the offer.

hi there..are you still looking for a room..was searching on yahoo for rooms for rent and came across your blog. If you are still lookin there might be a place its a flat..kindda of plc..quite decent nice...rent about 180.not inclusive of electricity..its in tmn jubilee phase 2. let me know i f interested.will give u more information.cherwith@gmail.com
