Just now I did something that make me realised why I had not did that for a long time. I went to Penang on Saturday night. I should tell you I was stuck, before reaching the bridge toll, for the whole 2 hours! Took me nearly another hour to reach the center of the bridge. Only after that my trusty little car don't have to crawl (so much).
Along the way, there are no sign of an accident or any major vehicle breakdown but it still jam for the whole 2 hours just to get in to the bridge. Overall it took me 3 hours to reach my destination and sent my plan for the evening haywire! So sad! Such a beautiful island but polluted by the sight of traffic jam. Even a few foreigners friend noticed this problem.
Can't we do something about that? 2nd Link plan to Penang was postponed, Ferry after 8pm was slow. Penang is one of our country top holiday's destination and we need to faced with such inconvenience. It does not happen only on weekends but weekdays also! Whoever work in mainland but live in island would know this. One minor accident can caused traffic jam on both side of the road for hours!
I just wish that at that moment I had a gun. Whoever slows down to watch the accidents will be punishable by death penalty. Move along JERK.. MachiB*i.. It does not concerns you if you can't help! Just move the car for the ambulance! As a certain friend once told me this joke, "No wonder our country F1 driver can win a race, he would slow down to watch the accident instead of winning the race!". Well, was that's a typical Malaysian attitude? You Tell Me!
